Investment Background Dore Pharmaceuticals is Namibia’s most technologically advanced pharmaceutical manufacturer. The company has a state-of-the-art EU-GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certified facility in Windhoek. Dore is also involved in the production and distribution of Anti-Retrovirals (ARVs) - this is the major component of its public sector business. Investment Background The Fund invested in Virtual Technology Services (VTS) during the market consolidation currently underway in the payments sector. The VTS investment represented an opportunity to participate in payments at the merchant acquiring level. VTS has a PSD3 e-money license from the bank of Namibia which allows it to provide customers with e-wallets and transaction aggregation services. VTS has three staff and is working closely with the other portfolio company in the payments sector - Innervation Namibia.
